Our commitment to safety and exceptional customer service is paramount. When shipping items to one of our service locations, please complete the following steps to ensure smooth processing:
We strive to provide quick turnaround on all service requests to get your equipment back in the field where it is needed. For the fastest possible service, please consider our pre-approval process.
Upon receipt, a thorough diagnostic assessment of your gas detection equipment is performed, including comprehensive functional tests and an inspection of all components. A repair estimate will then be prepared and delivered to you for review. For more information on the repair estimate please click here.
If the required repairs meet warranty guidelines, you do not need to approve the repair. Warranty repairs are performed immediately following the diagnostic process and then prepared for return shipment. Non-warranty repairs require customer approval before we proceed with any necessary repairs. Once approval is received, repairs will be conducted. If EXPEDITED service is desired, please check out our preapproval process. You can rest easy knowing we back all our repair work with a one-year service warranty.
Once repairs are complete, we will perform a final calibration and bump test using NIST traceable gases to ensure factory specifications are met. A Factory Calibration Certificate is provided for your records.
Your repaired instrument will be packed and shipped back to you with our standard shipping procedures, unless any special instructions are provided at the time of approval.
If you cannot be without your gas detection equipment while your existing unit is being serviced, we offer an affordable flat-rate rental program. Your flat-rate is based on the weekly rental rates for the product and configuration requested.
This service is available to customers who own Industrial Scientific products while having their existing units serviced by an Industrial Scientific Service Center. Please contact a service center for more information.
