Industrial Scientific, a global leader and innovator in gas detection and safety technologies that automate critical safety and operational risk workflows, is pleased to announce that Darcy Du has joined the company as chief financial officer. In this role, Mr. Du will be responsible for driving financial and operational excellence.
Mr. Du joins Industrial Scientific from Fluke Corporation, where he served as senior director of finance and led initiatives in product lifecycle management, innovation financial planning, financial reporting, finance transformation, and mergers and acquisitions. Before that, he worked as the FP&A director for Industrial Scientific and Fluke’s parent company, Fortive Corporation. He also held various roles of increasing responsibility at other Fortive operating companies, after beginning his career in finance at Motorola.

Mr. Du holds a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from Nankai University in Tianjin, China, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business.
